Use the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge to promote your show or an episode that can be heard on Apple Podcasts. The badge should link to the applicable content on Apple Podcasts. The badge can be used in your promotions on:
- Web pages
- Social media
- Apps
- Printed materials
Don’t display both the badge and icon together and do not use the Apple Podcasts icon instead of the Apple Podcasts badge in marketing communications, even when layout space is limited. Use the Apple Podcasts icon only when displaying an array of icons with similar shape and size.
1.1 Badge Artwork
Use only the badge artwork provided by Apple. Never create your own Apple Podcasts badge or change the artwork in any way.

1.3 Badge Placement
- Use the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge on your site to promote general availability of your show on Apple Podcasts as well as on each of your web pages that correlate to a specific episode of your show.
- Place the artwork adjacent to or immediately following imagery or messaging about your content. You should make clear what content is offered on Apple Podcasts.
- Use only current artwork provided by Apple.
1.4 Minimum Clear Space
Follow these guidelines for print and digital material: Minimum clear space around the badge should be at least one-tenth the height of the badge. Don’t place photos, typography, or other graphic elements inside the minimum clear space area. Allow more space whenever possible.
1.5 Minimum Size
Minimum badge size is 8 mm for printed materials and 30 pixels for digital use. Don’t make the badge the dominant graphic. The small badge should be 12 pixels high or larger.
On Mobile Devices
If you have advertising with very limited layout space, such as banners for mobile devices, use a badge size that’s clearly readable on these devices. Minimum clear space around the badge should be at least one-tenth the height of the badge.
1.6 Backgrounds
Do not alter the Apple-provided badge artwork in any way. The gray border around the badge is part of the badge artwork and must not be left out.
You can place the badge on these backgrounds:
- Black or white background
- Solid-color background
- Background image that doesn’t affect the readability of the badge
1.7 Avoid Mistakes
Do not let the Apple Podcasts badge dominate your layout as the primary message or main graphic. It should support your content, main message, and product or company identity.
- Do not obstruct the badge with text, graphics, violators, or images.
- Do not use the Apple logo.
- Do not rotate, tilt, or animate the badge.
- Do not add visual effects to the artwork such as shadows or glows.
- Do not alter the artwork in any way.
- Do not use graphics or images from Apple’s website.
- Do not imitate Apple communications or Apple’s graphic style and typography.
- Do not use the Apple logo alone on any communication.
- Do not create your own Apple Podcasts icon or alter the official icon artwork.

Listen on Apple Podcasts Lockup
The Listen on Apple Podcasts lockup is a combination of the Apple Podcasts icon with the message Listen on Apple Podcasts set in specially designed type. Use only lockup artwork provided by Apple and do not alter the artwork in any way.
A lockup can be used in all marketing communications promoting content on Apple Podcasts. If badges from other services appear on your communication, do not use a lockup. Instead, use the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge.
The lockup is designed for greater graphic versatility and can be used on layouts where the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge is either crowded by limited layout space or appears visually heavy in the layout. The lockup is especially suited to banner ads, print ads, and other forms of advertising. Whenever a lockup is used online, you must include a link to Apple Podcasts.
The Listen on Apple Podcasts lockup is a promise to your audience of a high-quality listening experience. Follow these guidelines to make sure you’re using the Apple Podcasts lockup correctly. Marketing materials don’t usually require approval by Apple, but there are a few exceptions. Written approval from Apple is required for materials used in:
- TV or print media
- Any marketing format with high visibility
- Custom photography or video in which Apple products appear

2.1 Lockup Artwork
Use only the lockup artwork provided by Apple. Do not change the Apple-provided artwork in any way. Never build your own Apple Podcasts lockup. Do not revise the Listen on message.
If you create marketing material for the web or onscreen communications, use the high-resolution scalable artwork in SVG format. For printed material, use the lockup artwork in EPS format in the color profile (CMYK or RGB) that matches the color profile of your print production mechanical.

2.3 Using the Lockup
Follow these requirements for using the Listen on Apple Podcasts lockup.
- Use only one Listen on Apple Podcasts lockup in your layout or video.
- A lockup cannot be combined with a Listen on Apple Podcasts badge. Use either a lockup or a badge, not both.
- Do not make the lockup the dominant artwork. Your content should carry the main graphics or message.
- Place the lockup below or to the right of your images and copy promoting your content. Keep the lockup smaller than the other images and main message.
- Do not use the Apple Podcasts lockup along with badges for other podcast services. Instead, use the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge and place the badge first in the lineup of badges.
- The option with color is preferred; however, you can select the color option that best suits your layout.

2.7 Avoid Mistakes
Avoid mistakes. Use artwork exactly as provided by Apple.
- Do not use the lockup on a busy, patterned, or cluttered background. Instead, consider using the Listen on Apple Podcasts badge.
- Do not eliminate the Listen on call-to-action message.
- Do not modify, angle, animate, rotate, or tilt the lockup.
- Do not change the font.
- Do not change the color of the type.
- Do not apply special effects such as shadows or glows to a lockup.
- Do not replace the icon with the Apple logo.
- Do not use the Apple logo alone.
- Do not use icons, logos, or graphics from the Apple website or from Apple apps.

The easier you make it for your potential audience to discover and listen to your podcast, the greater the likelihood they will. Use the direct link to your show on Apple Podcasts in all marketing communications, on social media, and on channels where your audience wants to learn more about your show.
In digital promotions, embed the link to your show on Apple Podcasts in the Apple Podcasts icon.
4.1 Linking to Your Podcast
- On an iOS device with iOS 8 or newer, open Apple Podcasts.
- Open the show you want to share.
- Tap the sharing arrow.
- Tap Copy Link.
- Paste the copied link into your communication.
Additionally, you can use the Link Maker and Banner Builder tools to create links to your podcast.
4.2 Linking to an Episode
- On an iOS device with iOS 8 or newer, open Apple Podcasts.
- Open the episode you want to share.
- Tap the sharing arrow.
- Tap Copy.
- Paste the copied link into your communication.
4.3 Requesting a Provider page
A provider page gathers together all the shows from the same network and offers a single destination which you can link to for your network. If you have multiple podcasts you may be eligible for a provider page. To request a provider page please use “Contact Us” in Resources and Help.
Messaging and Style
The key to a great marketing campaign is clear and effective messaging. Here are some tips to keep in mind when you promote your podcast:
- Make sure your podcast is the focus of your message.
- Clearly communicate what your show is about and the benefits it provides potential listeners.
- Provide the direct link to your show on Apple Podcasts to make it easy to find and listen.
- Referring to Apple products and listening on Apple Podcasts is recommended so users know how to listen.
5.1 Suggested Messaging
“Subscribe to <podcast name> on Apple Podcasts.”
“If you love the show, share it with a friend on Apple Podcasts.”
“Never miss an episode. Subscribe on Apple Podcasts to get new episodes as they become available.”
5.2 Spelling and language
Always use the correct Apple product names with the correct capitalization as shown on the Apple Trademark List.
5.3 Creating Links to Apple Products

5.4 Definitions
- Apple Podcasts: The app that customers use to discover, stream, download, subscribe to and listen to podcasts. Also refers to the directory for podcasts. Apple Podcasts is available on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV and via Apple CarPlay.
- Podcast: Refers to the content type.
- Episode: Refers to a single file within a Podcast.
5.5 Referring to Apple Products
When using the app name Podcasts or Apple Podcasts in headlines or copy, always typeset Podcasts with an uppercase P followed by lowercase letters. Typeset Apple with an uppercase A followed by lowercase letters. Apple Podcasts is set as two words. Apple Podcasts is plural.

If a headline is typeset all uppercase, the words Apple Podcasts within the headline can also be set all uppercase.
You can refer to Apple Podcasts or the Podcasts app from Apple on the first mention of the platform. In subsequent references, just Podcasts can be used.

Spotify Itunes Download Gate Page Link
Do not translate the words Apple, Podcasts, or Apple Podcasts. Use the words in English, even when they appear within text in a language other than English. The words Apple, Podcasts, and Apple Podcasts should be spoken in English, even when they are used in promotions such as radio advertising or presentations that are spoken in a language other than English.
In U.S. communications, use the registered trademark symbol (®) the first time Apple appears in body copy.
Apple Products
6.1 Apple Developer Program
If you are a member of the Apple Developer Program, follow the instructions in the App Store Marketing Guidelines.
6.2 Product screens
Apple Developer Program members can use the approved iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, and Apple TV images provided by Apple.
The screen on iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV must show only your content on the Podcasts app that appears exactly as seen when the Podcasts app is running.
Show only content you have the legal right to display.
Violators, bursts, and promotional messages cannot appear on an Apple product screen.

6.3 Using the name iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV
When using the name iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, or Apple TV in headlines and body copy, always typeset iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch with a lowercase i and an uppercase P followed by lowercase letters. The name iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch should start with a lowercase i even when it is the first word in a sentence, paragraph, or title.
Do not refer to iOS devices in promotional copy. Use the product names iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch.
Apple Approval
As stated previously, most marketing materials don’t require approval by Apple. However, we require that you obtain written approval from Apple for any material created for:
- TV or print media
- Any high-visibility marketing format
- Custom photography or video in which Apple products appear
Be sure to allow at least seven business days for review and approval.
7.1 Submission Requirements
Send your materials to our Partner Branding Help team at podcastsmarketing@apple.com. At least seven working days is required to review your material. Make sure you include:
- Contact details with a phone number
- Apple ID or Apple Podcasts URL for your podcast
- Podcast Title
- Provider
- Host Names
7.2 Submission Instructions
- If your material is less than 20 MB in size, attach it to the support request. Anything larger than 20 MB should be provided by FTP server or another web-delivery service. Don’t forget to include the link or the username and password for the FTP server in your support request.
- All support requests should be in English.
- Include an English translation of your materials, if necessary.
- Give us at least seven business days for a response.
- If we don’t respond within seven days, it doesn’t mean that the content has been approved.
- We can review materials that are in progress. However, all final materials must be approved before publication.
- Send your content in a standard format, such as PDF or JPG for images and MP4 for videos.
- Make sure to submit only high-quality copy and images for review.
Legal
8.1 Credit Lines
Use the appropriate credit lines in all communications worldwide, listing all the Apple trademarks used in your communication. List only the trademarks actually used in your materials.
For example, when you use the Apple Podcasts badge and mention iPhone and iPod touch in copy: the Apple logo, Apple Podcasts, iPhone, and iPod touch are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
- When you use the Apple Podcasts badge, display an iPad product image, and mention iPhone in copy: the Apple logo, iPhone, and iPod touch are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
- When you use only the Apple Podcasts badge: the Apple logo is trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries.
- Place the credit lines wherever you provide legal notification. Follow standard practices for the placement of legal copy, such as creating additional screens or providing interactive links.
- Include the credit lines only once in your communication or website.

8.2 Trademark Symbols
In communications distributed only in the United States, the appropriate symbol (TM, SM, or ®) must follow each Apple trademark the first time it is mentioned in body copy.
For example: iPhone®, iPad® and iPod touch®
- Don‘t add a symbol to the Apple Podcasts badge artwork provided by Apple.
- Don‘t add symbols to headline copy.
For communications developed for mobile devices, follow standard practices for the placement of legal copy, such as creating additional screens or providing interactive links to legal copy.
For the correct trademark symbols, refer to the Apple Trademark List.
8.3 Association with Apple
Your images including your content within iPhone, iPad, iPod touch and Apple TV product images, or photographs thereof cannot be used in any manner that falsely suggests an association with Apple or is likely to reduce, diminish, or damage the goodwill, value, or reputation associated with Apple Podcasts, iTunes, iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV or Apple itself.
8.4 Translations
With Apple’s approval, a translation of the legal notice and credit lines (but not the trademarks) can be used in materials distributed outside the U.S. Never translate an Apple trademark.
